OUR PAST COMMANDER'S

Robert "Bob" D. Adams III was the organizing Commander of Hood's Texas Brigade, Camp #153. The Camp Charter was re-issued on August 5th, 1993, by the General Executive Council of the SCV, and the first formal meeting was held at Luby's Cafeteria, Central Park Mall, San Antonio, Texas on September 13, 1993, at 6:30 p.m. Since its rechartering thirty years ago - sixteen gentlemen have served in the position of Camp Commander; each of them added something new to the camp during their administration. Camp Commanders who have served a full term and choose not to continue are granted to hold the rank of Past Commander. The Past Commanders act as advisors to the camp officers & staff when needed and may serve on the Nominating Committee for the Elections of the Camp Officers.
